ORANGE FIBER

An innovative fibre that is obtained from by-products of citrus juice production in Sicily, among other things, and reduces the use of new raw materials. Made with Italian expertise and processed into a unique fabric that is exceptionally soft and supple.

REFRESHINGLY PRODUCTIVE

The Italian island of Sicily is home to the famous orange groves, where the sun-ripened fruit is harvested and processed into juice. After the oranges have been pressed, the leftovers, which would normally be disposed of, are collected. Because there is more to this fruit than meets the eye: a fashionable treat that lasts.

INNOVATION THAT BEARS FRUIT

Around half of every squeezed orange is normally left behind as an unused waste product. But these seemingly worthless remnants are surprisingly useful and are transformed into a valuable resource. This is where the innovative process begins, which is an essential component in the production of Orange Fiber: the cellulose contained in the peel and pulp is extracted and prepared for further processing.

FRESH FIBRES

The cellulose from orange peel and pulp is combined with fresh cellulose from sustainably managed forests. This mixture not only reduces the need for new raw materials, but also reduces the volume of waste. Using modern technology, this cellulose mixture is processed into fresh Lyocell fibres. To create a new fabric, the fibres are then spun into yarn.

VITAMIN D(ENIM)

The denim produced with Orange Fiber is then turned into a finished garment. The innovative material is characterised by its exceptional lightness and airiness. A comfortable denim that is particularly soft and pleasant on the skin. Ideal in warm summer temperatures and for your daily dose of vitamin D(enim).
